My Favorite Fancy

Evening all. This will be my last blog of the day I think - off to bed with a lemsip #sorock'n'roll...

Here is the lovely if not glamorous Red Carpet Reanne from the fabulous The Stamping Chef crew. I loved colouring her in with my promarkers. Once she was done I mounted her on sliver pearly paper and then pink mirror board, both from Creata. The topper was then mounted onto beautiful paper (one of my favourites) from Creata and then onto black card stock. The sentiment was made punching a scalloped circle from both the silver silky paper and the pink mirror board, cut both in half, layered one on top of the other and then added pretty pink peel-offs.

In the top right hand corner I used Creata Flower Forming for the first time by myself (I was lucky enough to be shown by Carley Duff and her team when they visited Inverness). I have to say that I am very happy with the results and think it definitely adds that extra something and dimension. Finally there are 3 pink pearl gems at the bottom of the card to add balance.

I hope you love her as much as I do. x

Having a Great Day

Hi guys, here is the sexy Jenna from The Stamping Chef. I am new to TSC and thanks to a certain lady (Kerrie) I am hooked. This is the first project I have done using my promarkers for more than solid colours. Jenna has been matted and layered on pink silky card and lush pink mirror board, both from Creata. Once the topper was made it was mounted onto beautiful butterfly paper, again from Creata, and finally mounted onto black card stock. I made the sentiment from some card in my stash, used a pink border peel-off and silver word peel-offs and the attached a jewelled brad. For some extra definition I added a few satin buds by Papermania to opposite corners.

Cupcakes Anyone?

I have had a wonderful day in The Craft Shed, which made up for being full of cold. I love baking and cupcakes are something I like to make for friends and family so inspiration for this card was easy.

The card itself is black card which has been topped with Cupcake paper out of a paper pad from Creata. I embossed some raspberry Core Dinations card stock and sanded it back to reveal pink underneath. I added a bit of sparkle to the strawberries using Papermania gems and then matted the topper onto my favourite Creata mirror board. I also mated the sentiment (from my stash) on the same mirror board and the finished off the card with Papermania green glitter spots.

First Post on New Blog

This is my first card of the New Year so I thought it was fitting to use it in my first post on my new blog.

Please forgive me if it takes me a while to add links to the products used etc etc... Any help you can give me along the way will always be gratefully received.

The digi image is a 'Bestie' by Sherri Baldy and coloured with promarkers. The card itself is Kraft card, there is lots of Creata mirror board (my favourite) and the patterned paper is also from Creata. I was very lucky to win a Joy Trouvaille when Carley Duff came to Inverness last year so I have used this to cut and emboss my embellishments and flourishes on the card itself. I have added a few doilies (which I love and they are actually drink coasters bought from my local cash n carry, only £1.99 for a 1000) and a blue flower brad to match the blue in the patterned paper.

Now my first post is complete I aim to add more on a regular basis xxx
